Dr Millicent Brown, DHEd,  PMHNP, AHNP-BC

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Millicent Brown is a dual Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric and adult health care. With nearly 19 years of experience, she focuses on promoting mental wellness, diagnosing, and treating conditions like Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and more. Her work spans across all age groups, including children and adolescents.
Starting her healthcare journey at 13 as a volunteer at Lenox Hill Hospital, Dr. Brown has built her career through various roles in psychiatric and medical care. Known for her strong clinical skills and genuine care for patients, she believes in building lasting relationships by taking the time to listen and understand each client’s unique needs.

Dr. Brown holds degrees in Registered Nursing, Adult Health Nursing Practice, Nursing Education, and Healthcare Administration. She also earned a Post-Master's Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health and a Doctorate in Healthcare Education. She has taught nursing students and led academic programs, including launching Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Atlanta campus, where every graduate in the first class passed their licensure exam on the first try. Dr. Brown remains committed to advocating for vulnerable populations, working to improve healthcare access and outcomes.
