Susan A. Baez, NP, a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, experienced mental health practitioner believes it is important to quickly and accurately identify problems and potential solutions early in the treatment process. She emphasizes on empowering patients to engage in treatment decisions. Her patients, family members and/or collaterals will obtain a thorough understanding of their disease process and potential treatment options, in process of informed decision making. Susan has over 13 years of psychiatric nursing experience. She has worked as a clinician in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. She has worked as a mental health educator and administrator for the Devereux Foundation. Susan performs medication management and psychotherapy for adults in our private setting practice.
